I was extremely reluctant to seek treatment/ help of any kind due to my poor experience with a traditional AA facility and expectation that any type of treatment would be synonymous with that type of hard-line, dogmatic approach. I found The Adaptive Center to be a refreshingly nuanced, honest, and engaging way of approaching not only addiction, but also life. Not only did I not dread going to meetings, I very much looked forward to the possible psychological and/ or philosophical, topics of conversation during group meetings lead by Juan Lesende. Last but not least, Travis Proffitt made the administrative process as painless as possible, and was a constant source of information and guidance- even making himself available via test message at any time to answer questions related to scheduling appointments, filling prescriptions, housing, and even legal matters. I recommend the Adaptive Center as strongly as possible to anyone (including family) considering it as a treatment option.

I attend an after care group at adaptive center with Juan as the facilitator and therapist, they have given me many tools to deal with my addiction, and I have been able to cope with life much better, I see the work they do is remarkable I recommend Juan and adaptive center

A family member of left here a year ago and I can say without a doubt that this place saved their life. I'm beyond grateful to have found somewhere that got through to them, as they'd been to countless places in the past and never made it past a few days. I've spent years trying to get clean and sober. I've tried every kind of addiction treatment available but could never make it work for more than a few weeks. At Adaptive Center I learned how to maintain long-term sobriety. Treatment at Adaptive Center, which is scientifically proven and based on modern research, includes group and one-on-one therapy, mindfulness training, and daily exercise.
